Property Management

If you own a second home in France and you would like peace of mind when you are not there, I can look after your home, carrying out regular checks as and when necessary, either regularly or on an ad-hoc basis. I will report back my findings and deal with any issues that I come across, including arranging pest control, mail forwarding, insurance claims, organising a gardener, meter readings and much more.

Administrative support

I offer administrative help and support, covering a wide range of services. I write and speak French fluently, am friendly and reliable and I have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

 

I can meet in person or work remotely, so it doesn't matter where you are located. For example, if you receive a letter that you do not understand, you can simply take a photo of it and send it to me and I will translate it and explain what you need to do. I can also make phone calls on your behalf.

 

I am able to help with anything relating to the bureaucracy and paperwork that are involved in owning a house in France, including:

​

  • dealing with visa applications

  • setting up utilities

  • arranging insurance cover

  • helping with property tax enquiries

  • re-registering a UK car

  • opening a bank account

  • registering a new business

  • arranging medical appointments and attending to translate if necessary

 

This list is by no means exhaustive and I can, and do, turn my hand to anything. I have even been asked by one client if I could find a company that that would be able to deliver a leopard gecko to her home in France for her daughter - and I was successful!

Project Liaison

Choosing a professional to offer advice or a tradesperson to carry out work at your property can seem a bit daunting and can be costly if you do not find the right person the first time. I only recommend tradespersons and professionals who are correctly registered and insured. Also, either I will have seen their work or they will have been recommended to me by a trusted source. This gives you peace of mind that the work will be carried out to an excellent standard. My role is to liaise between you, the property owner and the person carrying out the work, arranging meetings, being present if required and most importantly, checking that the work has been carried out correctly. I also take photos and/or videos for you to look at before you arrange payment.
